Sandra Montgomery

Akron - established December 1st, 2006

Sandra was inspired to bring the program to Akron because of her son Brian’s brave battle with cancer and held the first shoot in January 2007. She currently works as a Financial Aid Counselor at the University of Akron, where she has also worked in the Office of the Register. Sandra holds a B.B.A from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, and an M.B.A. from The University of Akron in Akron, Ohio.

Co-Chapter Director Jen Greulich is an RN, having graduated with a B.S. in Nursing from the University of Akron. Prior to staying home with her two young sons, Jen worked as a nurse in the orthopedic and trauma unit. She also taught a class for patients undergoing joint replacements and served as her unit's representative on the hospital's Nursing Practice Council. She is now an active volunteer at her boys' schools, and is thrilled to be co-director of the Akron Chapter of Flashes of Hope.
