Paola Abello

Paola launched the Boston Chapter in September of 2006. Paola’s first entrepreneurial venture was creating a popular upscale bakery café, Boston Bagel Café in Fort Lauderdale. After selling her café, Paola moved on to the real estate sector, re-vamping the operations of her family business while managing the company’s portfolio of assets and capital improvement projects. She then worked with a new venture philanthropy organization, Social Venture Partners, to launch its operations in Boston. Paola directed over $400,000 in grant investments and managed various consulting projects for SVP Boston. Paola now sits on the Board of Directors at SVP Boston, advising on a growth strategy and chairing the investment committee. Paola holds her B.A. in Finance and Economics from Boston College and her MBA in Entrepreneurship from Babson College.
