Claudia Krell

Claudia was named the Director of the Connecticut / New Haven Chapter in early 2009. Originally from Brazil, Claudia worked in banking throughout Latin America and in the US after graduating from Boston University with a BS in Finance. With the birth of her children she left the corporate world and founded a children's wear company, Nicolacci & Me in order to spend more time raising her family. Through her company Claudia sponsored the neo-natal and pediatric cancer floors at The University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center in Florida. Most recently Claudia also began volunteering at "Kids in Crisis", an emergency shelter and crisis intervention center for children based in Connecticut. Since Claudia has been an avid photographer all her life, when she first heard about Flashes of Hope she was moved with the possibility of bringing such immense joy to children and their families, one photograph at a time.
