Amy Spelman

Houston (Texas Children's) - established July 1st, 2008

Amy has been directly involved with cancer research for the past 10 years.
She serves as Research Manager of the Integrative Medicine Program at the
University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. In her work, she has found
that kids are kids, regardless of their health. They play and have fun and
are able to understand their illness and why they are in the hospital. After
receiving her MPH and PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Texas
School of Public Health, she is excited to combine her professional
interests in pediatric cancer and survivorship issues related to disease and
treatment with her love of children.
