Leslie Hale

Minneapolis - established August 1st, 2006

Leslie started the Minneapolis/St. Paul Chapter in August 2006. With extensive experience in the non profit sector, Leslie Hale was the perfect choice as Chapter Director. She directed the children’s art programs for Connect US/USSR, a non-profit organization which promoted cultural exchange between the US and the former Soviet Union. She also directed the children’s health and nutrition programs for Minnesota FoodShare, a non-profit advocacy and service agency working on hunger and poverty issues. She currently runs a successful family and wedding photography business. She graduated with honors from Brown University with a BA in Russian Studies and received a MPH in community health education from the University of Minnesota.
