Kimberly Conard

North Carolina Triangle - established May 1st, 2007

Kim and her long time friend Nancy Padgett started the Triangle Chapter at UNC Children’s Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC in May, 2007. She wanted to bring the chapter to UNC because she witnessed first hand the compassion and respect of the hospital staff during her nephew’s frequent visits. Kim has worked with Davis Kane Architects as the office manager for the past 12 years. In addition to Flashes of Hope, she also volunteers her time with Make-A-Wish as a wish grantor. She graduated from West Virginia University with a BA in International Studies.

Nancy Padgett serves at the Co-Director. She works as the Director of Marketing and Business Development for PWI Consulting Engineers, an MEP Consulting Design firm. PWI has designed both renovations and new additions for UNC Health Care over the last 10 years. Nancy is a North Carolina native who has lived and worked in the Triangle for over 6 years after her return from a 10 year residence in Baltimore, MD.
