In January 2006, Christie became the Chapter Director at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Her inspiration for bringing the program to Philadelphia was her daughter, who was successfully treated for Stage 3 Neuroblastoma. Christie and her husband Jeff run Gould Frame and Mirror, a business specializing in fine art digital printing, custom framing and fine gift ware. She began her career at Boscov’s Department store where she rose from a Department Manager to Buyer. Christie graduated from Penn State University with a bachelors in Management where she was a member of Lion Ambassadors and Gamma Sigma Sigma Service Sorority. She was awarded the Ogontz campus Eric and Josephine Walker Award for excellence in leadership, citizenship and service.
