Children with cancer are smiling today at a Flashes of Hope shoots. Our dedicated volunteer chapter directors coordinate photo shoots within the nation's top hospitals and at special events for children with cancer. Whether photographing one child isolated in a bone marrow unit or a hundred kids having fun at summer camp, it's an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

Dr. Kerry Moss

Dr. Kerry Moss was named Co-Director of the Hartford Chapter in 2012. Dr. Moss is a pediatric oncologist at Connecticut Children's Medical Center, specializing in survivorship, late effects and palliative care. She volunteered for our special events program before helping to open the Hartford chapter. Dr. Moss graduated from the University of Virginia and Medical College of Virginia. She completed her residence at the University of Connecticut and a fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation at the University of Colorado Children's Hospital.
