Children with cancer are smiling today at a Flashes of Hope shoots. Our dedicated volunteer chapter directors coordinate photo shoots within the nation's top hospitals and at special events for children with cancer. Whether photographing one child isolated in a bone marrow unit or a hundred kids having fun at summer camp, it's an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
Pat Barry was named the Minneapolis Chapter Director in 2012 after serving as a longtime volunteer photographer. A commercial photographer for over 23 years, he works at InsideOut Studio where he specializes in product and large room set photography. Pat has extensive experience producing photo shoots and is dedicated to capturing a moment in time for pediatric cancer patients that will be forever treasured. He first started shooting for Flashes Of Hope about eight years ago in an effort to use some of his God given talents in a way that would benefit others in need.
Pat has a couple of small children of his own. He can't imagine the hardships that parents and children have to go threw together in getting treatment. This is his way to try and give them a break and capture a moment in time that they can treasure for years to come.
